Job Description

Sidan Associates & Partners, a leading design-to-construction company, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resource Associate to join our team. This role is integral to supporting our HR functions, ensuring efficient recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have exceptional organizational skills, a solid understanding of HR practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.

Location: Ogbojo, East Legon

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment & Onboarding

· Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and offer letter preparation.

· Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, ensuring seamless integration into the company.

· Maintain up-to-date job descriptions for all company roles.

Employee Relations & Engagement

· Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, handling queries professionally and confidentially.

· Assist managers in addressing employee grievances and conflict resolution.

· Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.

· Develop and implement initiatives to boost employee morale and satisfaction.

Performance Management & Development

· Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems.

· Assist managers in tracking employee performance and identifying training needs.

· Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.

· Facilitate periodic performance reviews.

· Organize monthly soft skills training programs for staff.

Compliance & Documentation

· Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and workplace safety regulations.

· Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including contracts, personal details, and disciplinary actions.

· Prepare and submit HR-related reports, including workforce analytics.

HR Administration & Support

· Manage employee attendance, leave requests, and payroll inputs in coordination with the finance team.

· Ensure HR processes align with organizational goals by collaborating with other departments.

· Handle routine employee inquiries and concerns.

· Distribute internal communications such as memos and updates.

· Support disciplinary and grievance procedures.

· Manage HR office supplies and coordinate with external vendors for HR services such as insurance and wellness programs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Proven experience in an HR role, preferably within the construction or related industry.

· Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.

· Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a dynamic work environment.

· High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
