So, Kesha’s got a new hobby.
Finished guessing? Fine, I’ll tell you: It’s summoning aliens. And she picked it up from Demi Lovato. No, I’m not joking.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kesha explained that Demi inspired her to, uh, try to summon aliens after the latter appeared on the former’s Kesha and the Creepies podcast to discuss her own extraterrestrial adventures.
“I loved the conversation we had because…there were a couple books she mentioned and an app she mentioned that I immediately downloaded,” she explained “[I told my family,] ‘All I want for Christmas is for us all to meditate and try to channel extraterrestrials.’ And they’re like, ‘OK.'”
Of course, we knew Demi was out there looking for signs of life from other planets — she said so in her monologue while hosting last year’s E! People’s Choice Awards, joking that she “got unengaged, then went looking for aliens in the desert.”
But now Kesha’s got aliens on the brain too.
“I’m like trying to get all my friends and family into meditating the aliens to us,” she went on. “It’s my new hobby because of Demi Lovato.”
Kesha, Demi, I salute you both — specifically, for your quest to find out whether the truth is, in fact, really out there.
