The Role: We are seeking motivated volunteers to join our team in various key positions, including UI/UX Designers, Web Developers, Mobile App Developers, and Business Researchers. As part of this initiative, you'll work with a dynamic, forward-thinking team to create and optimize digital solutions that make an impact on the African tech landscape.

By contributing to this project, you’ll play a critical role in shaping technology solutions that foster local economic growth, promote digital transformation, and create inclusive access to essential services across the continent.

Responsibilities:

• UI/UX Designers: Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for users across various African markets.
• Web Developers: Develop scalable, responsive, and accessible web applications that cater to the needs of African users and businesses.
• Mobile App Developers: Build and maintain mobile applications that are optimized for local conditions (network constraints, device types, etc.), enabling users to access critical services on their phones.
• Business Researchers: Conduct in-depth market research to uncover opportunities, consumer behaviors, and trends in the African tech ecosystem. Provide actionable insights to guide product and service development.

Qualifications:

• Passion for technology and the African startup ecosystem.
• Relevant experience in your field (UI/UX design, web development, mobile app development, or business research).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote, multicultural team.
• Self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to take initiative and ownership of tasks.
• Ability to commit a minimum of 3 hours/week.
