We are renting the house we live in, and it came with a 2.5 GPM shower head and a near 20 year old water heater. Not exactly a recipe for preserving hot water. Sometimes we’d be lucky to get 10-15 straight minutes in the shower. I know for a lot of people that’s plenty of time, but warm/hot showers are very therapeutic for me, so I like mine a little longer than that on average.
Installing this shower head really made a huge difference. Showers now seem to have plenty of hot water. I don’t think I’ve ever used a low flow shower head before, but this one has good pressure for how little it uses. No problems rinsing off soap.
